Bags I'd seen locally were $45 and up, so I hadn't planned to get him one until coming onto Amazon and shopping around. My son's favorite color is orange, and this bag had good reviews and the right price, so I ordered it.It arrived yesterday and we immediately transferred all his gear: his cleats, bat, two gloves, batting helmet, batting gloves, ball, water bottle and Gatorade bottle, and snacks. It has four compartments to keep everything separate and easy to find: the bat compartment, which holds two bats on the outside bottom of the bag (the fence hook also tucks into this compartment), the large main compartment (which at first does not look like it will zip over a batting helmet, but it does), a long outside pocket that's perfect for bottles and snacks, and an end pocket that has a waterproof lining for cleats.
