However, the glove wasn't breaking in as quickly as I'd hoped, so I purchased this product. The Nokona Leather Treatment has worked beautifully on my glove. I applied the treatment yesterday afternoon, and after leaving it on overnight with a ball in the pocket of the glove and the glove tied up with a shoelace, I played catch with it today. The glove is much more comfortable now, and well on its way to being broken in, with a gorgeous pocket to boot.If you're like me, you've probably already looked up how to break in a baseball glove online and seen all the ridiculous answers. Before trying anything as drastic as baking or microwaving your glove (which quite possibly will cause the leather to crack), or dragging your glove behind your car (really??), give this product a go. Guess what this stuff is?...Petroleum jelly!!! So, what's the difference? It says Nakona on the label and they charge you about double.
