It is indeed true to size and width (2E) and I got it for a great deal on Amazon (somehow, this color was sold almost 50% cheaper than other colors).On a side note, I used to take great pride in purchasing New Balance because they used to be entirely made in the United States, however, these ones are China made (oh well, the out-sourcing bug got to them too). Still, a great pair from my favorite brand or shoe-maker. The fit reminds me of the the 905's, which were definitely the best basketball shoes ever made. They are not as ugly as the pictures might suggest... I have actually received compliments on them. They are comfortable right out of the box. Go with these over the 891's; they are better quality. I will order another pair (or two) soon. New Balance is the only company that makes this size so i figured I would give it a shot. They are great shoes, very comfortable and I would recommend them to anyone. The royal blue ones are only 82 bucks and they are well worth the money. I am only buying New Balance products from now on; I will never go back to nike. |
